Youth Aged 15 to 24 Neither in Education, Employment or Training

In 2019, Quebec ranked 2nd out of 11 jurisdictions based on the latest common year of data. The proportion of young people aged 15 to 29 who are neither in education, employment, nor training shows a slight downward trend in the majority of studied jurisdictions, excluding the initial two years of the COVID-19 pandemic (2020 and 2021). Quebec, on the other hand, witnessed a decrease of approximately 15 percentage points of young people in this situation between 1976 and 2022.
