Gini Coefficient

In 2017 and 2018, Quebec ranked 3rd out of 12 jurisdictions based on the latest common year of data. Economic inequalities measured by the Gini coefficient have shown a stable trend for the majority of jurisdictions during the studied period. In the case of Finland, there was a slight upward trend during this period. Quebec is in a favorable position with the second-lowest Gini coefficient among the studied jurisdictions.
